Splitvolt Expands Team with Tech Industry Veterans

Company Announces New Hires to Extend Market Leadership, Business Growth

Santa Clara, California – February 10, 2021  – Splitvolt announced today a new step in scaling up its business, with the recent addition of three new senior members in roles spanning from advanced technology and product development to operations. Tim Lieber, Tom Curtis, and Jeff Thomas joined the company with  decades of experience and successful track records to help empower EV adoption and expand the Splitvolt product line.  

Jeff Thomas has an extensive background in the tech industry, including consumer and commercial solutions, driving architecture, logic and physical silicon design, PCB design, mechanical and thermal design, and power supply development. As a senior vice president most recently, Thomas has also directly led technology initiatives in the U.S., Japan and China at DEC, SUN, ATI, Amdahl and several startups.

Tim Lieber joins Splitvolt with a multi-decade career in the tech industry, leading product development teams and delivering products at companies such as Digital Equipment Corp, Adaptec and Western Digital Corporation. He holds numerous patents and his entrepreneurial spirit led him to create product development teams for Eurologic Systems and Hitachi Global Storage Technologies. Under Tim’s guidance, his data storage development team was the first in the industry to solve complex density, power and rotational vibration challenges, leading to extensive product deployments at large hyper-scale data centers.  

Tom Curtis joins the Splitvolt operations group allowing the company to scale up and extend its leadership position in a new and innovative EV home charging  market. He has held senior roles in business management, supply chain and manufacturing operations with both OEM and contract manufacturing organizations. Curtis has established domestic and offshore supply chain partners for electronic and mechanical products and has built-out key internal operational infrastructure for numerous new and established technology companies.
